About Missing Piece
In 2004 Missing Piece founders Lex de Bruijn and Marco van Dam decided that 'things' should function differently. Lex and Marco, both working in the financial services sector, grew tired of the disorganised and uncontrolled way their ICT partners handled their affairs. User friendliness, optimal performance, a better grip on costs and staying up-to-date were all ICT-related elements they could not find while working in the financial services sector. Together they decided to quit their financial careers to set up a completely new company in the ICT sector. They were joined by their third partner Hans van den Heuvel who took over the technical part of the business. Missing Piece was born: an ICT service company focusing entirely on the user and based on solutions.
The Missing Piece business approach and service has proven itself so successful, that after incredible growth phases over the last years, Missing Piece Group has now re-strategised its international market presence. After approaching Marc Grune, a man with strong business contacts in all spheres of South African industry, the go-ahead for further international expansion was made. Joining our other clients in The Netherlands, USA, Singapore, Shanghai and Namibia, South Africa is a key market in Africa for our expansion strategies.
